Test one thing at a time, don't just throw science at the wall and see what sticks. Just based on how much time I put into SR2, and how awesome all the previews looked.Rule 2.

I think this is the first game I've actually bought at full launch price this year. So yeah, I'd say it's definitely worth it from what I've seen so far. Guess we'll find out as we get deeper into the game. Hopefully the devs didn't skimp on those aspects to make the game look as nice and polished as it does. Slightly less (like maybe 20%) overall options, but the look you end up with is still tons and tons better looking because of the amount of detail and polish they put into the game design.Īnother couple of things I'm not sure about yet are the total number of cars available and the overall size of the city map. I've only looking at customizing a couple cars so far, but it seems like they may have worked with the same principle on those too.

The interface and options seem more streamlined so you won't waste so much time doing the boring stuff. At least in the initiation station, outfits were lumped together so you were forced into wearing like a shirt/jacket/accessories that actually went together, instead of having to piece together your outfit one article at a time and possibly end up with something that just didn't work. It seems like they left out some of the options that no one would have used, or that just looked like crap anyways. The car and clothing options seem like they may have narrowed down just a little, but that may not be a bad thing. The character customization has tons more options, so you can make your character physically look like whatever you want. Now as far as variety, I'm not too sure yet. The graphics look much more polished, and the game design across the board has a much more over-the-top comical personality that just blows SR2 out of the water. I haven't really scratched the surface of SR3 yet, but I'd say it's a massive step forward in atmosphere. I can't pull as many "'till 3am" gaming sessions like I used to.

I'm not sure if I'll put too much time into customizing my character, I'd rather just play since I'm short on free time these days. Yes, I have the dildo and I'm not afraid to use it! I'm playing as a thick ass black chick with tig 'ol bitties and corn rows. I think the sound could use a little more work but overall it's good stuff. I can't wait to play this some more tonight. I fired the game up, setup the controls and graphics wondering if I'm wasting my time and after a short wait, BAM! silky smooth, clean, glitch free graphics and gameplay! What the deuce!?!? This can't be! But it's real, they delivered a game that is not a buggy, shitty console port! It's a freaking blast to play, it loooks great, it plays great with a KB/M, and the voice acting is spot on. I was bracing myself for choppy graphics, poor controls, and Jenga puzzle stability. I bought the game from Amazon, preloaded and then installed at 12:07 this morning. Holy shit I was so surprised when I loaded this game up this morning.
